PSE: Pioneering compound bows with new ideas
The name of this company says it all: PSE stands for Precision Shooting Equipment. For founder Pete Shepley, precision was just as important as archery technology innovation when he decided in 1970 to set up his own business as a developer and manufacturer of sports and hunting bows. His bows were meant to be newer, different, better - and as one of the first five companies he achieved this goal by licensing the Allen patent for the production of compound bows. The first experiments with release and new vanes for compound arrows became a new compound model, which after its introduction had immediate success on the entire American market. To date, PSE is the only one of the companies licensed under the Allen patent to manufacture compound bows exclusively.
